Your First Visit in Ogden UT

When you first come in, you will be greeted by our friendly staff. Here you will receive any paperwork that needs to be completed. These forms are also available on this website for your convenience.

Once completed, you will be given your own medical record card to be used with our automated system. This card is used to ‘check in’ at future appointments and helps us to retrieve your information. We will show you to the exam room where you will meet the Doctor who will ask you several questions about your health, injury, and pain that you are feeling. He will then take you through a series of Orthopedic tests to determine what is injured, the extent of your injuries, and if any other testing is necessary. It might be prudent to request an x-ray if the testing suggests a need.

You will be asked to perform several motion tests such as touching your toes or turning your head to each side. These tests help to determine what is injured and how to best proceed with your care. Don’t worry, this portion is in a private room so you can tell us exactly what you are experiencing.

Once these tests are completed, we will give you a “Report of Findings” where all the tests and our findings on your injury will be explained. Your treatment will be outlined so you know exactly what to expect. It is important to follow this treatment plan as it is necessary to reverse the damage created to your body through an accident, sustained posture or overuse.

Your treatment may begin at this point. We will explain what we are doing and the benefits of this treatment. Our goal is to decrease your pain and to begin getting you back on your feet, and doing your normal activities.
